When matter and energy are the same thing, space is curved, particles appear from and disappear back into nothing, time flows differently for each object and time and space themselves are simply different dimensions of a space-time continuum...
And when Consciousness is without boundaries and Awareness appears to be an ever present observer, always separate from what is being observed...
Then boundaries and limits dissolve or become meaningless. All that is left is a Subject (a colorless, timeless swirl of energy) and an Observer (Consciousness).
Unity (Oneness) and Consciousness are the same thing. The further we look under the covers, the more apparent this is. Awareness of Unity is the same as Consciousness becoming aware of itself. "Oneness" is just a term for the concept that the only thing that exists is Consciousness.
